Is it total titles in August or May, as you have written. All the same you have really done well. I reignited my reading habit when I decided to review African writers' novels in June. Since June I have read about 14 titles, 6 in August. I hope to maintain the rate, but it is not easy especially if some of the books begin to prove stubborn.

Nana, you keep me on my toes. You're right: I meant August, but had copied and pasted my format from a previous post. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

September has already proven better than August, as I've already read a book and am almost finished my second. So, barring any serious issues, I'm looking to improve myself this month.

Happy reading!

Every rose...has its thorn. But 2 great books is better than 8 terrible ones.

I agree, I'd rather read a few good books than a whole lot of so-so books.

A new month, some ginger ale and a handful of crackers will put you right.
